WHERE IS THE LIFE

Where is the life, that I have lost in living,
Shelves are filled with unread books
Cameras are filled with new rolls,
Dairies are untouched with daily memories
Stories are lost somewhere in the mind;
Where is the life, that I have lost in living.

Things are very near to me,
Moments are very dear to me;
Mind is blooming with thousand hues,
Enthusiasm has filled my heart;
But why have I lost my time in living.

What I had got in my living,
What I had lost in my life.
Silence prevails with complete darkness,
A small lamp was lit at the end of the tunnel,
As I raced towards it, I found that I was unable to,
As I would have, if I had been young.

Death awaits in my doorstep.
Where is my life, that I have lost in living.
